An academy is a small learning community that has a college/career theme, shows students links between their academic subjects and this theme, and involves employers and higher education institutions in preparing students for college and a career.
At Alma Bryant High School, we have 3 academies containing a total of 10 pathways.
Our signature academy is the Academy of Coastal Studies. Students who enroll in this academy have 5 pathway options: Coastal Environmental Science, Environmental Management - Plant Focus, Fisheries Management & Aquaculture, Maritime & Industrial Technology, and Recreation, Travel, & Tourism.
Two other academies available to students are the Academy of Business Management & Leadership (Business, Management, & Administration and JROTC) and The Humanities (HR/AP/DE, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts).
Students may also opt to take courses available at the Bryant Career Technical Center.
