Monday Motivation 🌪️

This week, our focus is the R in GRIT: Resilience.

Resilience is about how we respond when things do not go as planned. In education, every day brings challenges, but we have the opportunity to reset, adjust, and keep moving forward.

As Nelson Mandela said, “Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”

This week, let’s model resilience for our students. When things get tough, reset, refocus, and keep going.

Have a great week, and Go Canes!

Good morning, Hurricanes!

It’s time for our first Wednesday Wisdom of the school year!

Today, we are focusing on the C in our CANES Creed: Community.

Being part of the Hurricane community means understanding that we are stronger when we work together. Every student, teacher, coach, and staff member plays a role in making Bryant a place where people feel supported and respected.

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

Community can be as simple as helping someone who is struggling, including someone who feels left out, showing respect to others, or taking pride in our school.

Today, ask yourself:

What can I do to make our Hurricane community better?

Look out for each other. Take pride in Bryant. Remember that WE ARE CANES!

Together, we can do so much more!
Unfortunately, due to heavy lightening in our area expected the next few hours, we are going to postpone our community pep rally. We will get the dates out to everyone as soon as we reschedule.

Students and Parents, please be reminded that first period begins at 7:09. You should be in your seat by 7:08 so that you have time to be prepared to start at 7:09. For those who drive to school and can not get to class on time, we will be revoking your driving privileges this year if your tardies become excessive. Remember, 4 unexcused tardies does equal an unexcused absence and will be turned over as truancy. Please understand that being on time and accountability are critical to success in life.

Good morning, Hurricanes!
Welcome to our first Monday Motivation of the school year!
As we begin a new year, we are starting with the G in HURRICANE GRIT: Growth.
Growth means understanding that we are not supposed to have everything figured out on day one. We are supposed to learn, improve, and get better each day.
Michael Jordan once said:
“I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
That is what growth is all about. Mistakes and setbacks are going to happen. What matters is what you do next.
This year, challenge yourself to grow. Learn from your mistakes. Ask for help when you need it. Push yourself when things get difficult. Most importantly, don’t let one bad day, one bad grade, or one bad decision define your year.
You don’t have to be great on Day 1. You just have to be willing to get better on Day 2.
Start strong. Keep growing. Show your HURRICANE GRIT!

Unfortunately, in May of last year, the state department condemned our gym bleachers due to safety reasons. We will be replacing these bleachers as quickly as possible. We will host these pep rallies on the home side of the football field.
