Partnering with the University of South Alabama and Bishop State Community College, Alma Bryant High School’s Advanced Collegiate Pathway enhances the existing Advanced Placement and Cambridge International Examinations programs by providing a multitude of dual enrollment opportunities where Alma Bryant students may earn college credits tuition free. The Advanced Collegiate Pathway allows our high school students the capacity to earn both high school credit and college credit for a single course, potentially reducing the time needed to earn a college degree while exposing our students to a better understanding of what is expected in college. Dual enrollment courses provide the opportunity for our students to get a head start on their college experience.

Benefits of the Advanced Collegiate Pathway:

  • Earn college credit while in high school
  • Grades earned become part of a permanent transcript
  • Less time required after high school to finish a college degree
  • Saves money on tuition
  • Grades earned may enhance high school GPA thus becoming competitive for scholarships
