Maritime & Industrial Welding Pathway

Thanks to our partnership with Ingalls Shipbuilding, we are able to offer our students a unique hands on experience that will prepare them for a career in the shipbuilding industry.  Students can begin the Maritime pathway in the 10th grade, and if they choose to pursue a career in shipbuilding, they are encouraged to attend the Ingalls Shipbuilder Academy their senior year.  At the ISA, students will learn skills in highly specialized career types such as welders, riggers, painters, sheet metal workers, and pipefitters. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be offered employment with Ingalls that includes competitive pay, full benefits, company matched 401K, and tuition reimbursement.
