Alma Bryant High School hosted this year's District Choral Assessment, putting on display our wonderful facilities and event staff. All High School and Middle School choral programs converged on our auditorium for this mandatory adjudication and clinic, featuring the works of choral directors throughout MCPSS. Dr. Alexandra Trosper, of the University of Mobile, presided over the assessment, and provided scores and remarks for the benefit of music students and their directors.

Last week, our theater students in collaboration with remarkable members of Category 6 delivered a captivating showcase of their musical theater and acting prowess—a sneak peek of the performances they'll be presenting at the upcoming District Trumbauer Festival in November.

On October 05th at 6:00PM in our Auditorium, there will be a Mock Choral Showcase. A combined Alma Bryant High School Choir, along with GBMS and AMS Choirs, will showcase material for the upcoming District Assessment. Local collegiate/University professors will adjudicate and provide on-stage feedback for each number performed, and our students and directors will use these scores/input to guide further preparation for the assessment. Fall District Choral Assessment will further be hosted in our Auditorium on October 19-20 during the school day.
